Hey Sarah,
Congratulations on your success. I stood right behind you in line at the airport in Vegas on the way to SXSW but was too shy to say anything to you and figured you didn't want to be bothered.
That being said, you're much cuter in person :)

Have you ever experienced a Life-Orgasm?
Can't explain it, but I just had one when I found out that you, Sarah Lane, are once again viewable on a regular basis.
It's as if my life just transcended one step closer to the Divine.
(It's no longer a HOT MESS...Now it's more of a lukewarm/room temp mess)
I should have known about this sooner, but the treatment for the depression that afflicted me when I found out that I would no longer be able to enjoy a Feed segment ever again in my life (yes, that long ago) has been timely and grueling, but as of last Tuesday, my shrink, Dr. Cooter, gave me the all clear. Which couldn't have at a better time, if you ask me, cause I was starting to really question his methods of practice (medical accreditations were printed on old pizza menus, and the pharmacy that he sent me to fill my prescriptions always had me in compromising situations ie. donating 10% of my prescription to the pharmacist or being required to give the pharm. tech. the occasional handjob to ensure my prescription was filled correctly...Those days are finally over.)
It wasn't easy, i admit. There were times that I would intentionally fall of the wagon and, before anyone would notice i was missing, open up iTunes, scroll all the way down into my hidden stash of Feed Podcasts and press play...Then weep...then repeat...
You are an amazing talent and I wish you nothing but continued success and growth.
welcome back.

This makes me so happy, for so many reasons. Talented and accomplished women talking about the Internet = awesomeness.

Tried to give your prowl pick a shot, but Photonic only runs on Leopard! D'oh! My poor iBook G4 isn't ready for that yet. Alas, maybe after I upgrade my computer I can give it a whirl.

Don't post this, just read it. You have the parts but you're trying too hard. Lose the jackhammer hands, and learn smooth sweeping gestures. Slow down your rate of speech, add pauses when working with the other, winks, nodds, puzzlement, rather than the constant smile. Move the camera angle. Check out the late night pro's. Their delivery makes them, not the content. You have the charm, the skill, and the talent. But right now you're talking to a camera. You want to reach an audience.

good to see the likes of 'gems of the internet' or possibly 'damn good downloads.' Say, is that K Rose on the skate board in the ending credits???
Congrats Sarah

Hey Sarah gratz on the new show it looks great in HD.
In one of your segments you talked about the saying "its raining cats and dogs" this is from a poem called "A description of a city shower"
Now in contiguous Drops the Flood comes down,
Threat'ning with Deluge this devoted Town.
...
Now from all Parts the swelling Kennels flow,
And bear their Trophies with them as they go:
Filth of all Hues and Odours seem to tell
What Street they sail'd from, by their Sight and Smell.
They, as each Torrent drives, with rapid Force,
From Smithfield or St. Pulchre's shape their Course,
And in huge Confluent join'd at Snow-Hill Ridge,
Fall from the Conduit, prone to Holbourn-Bridge.
Sweeping from Butchers Stalls, Dung, Guts, and Blood,
Drown'd Puppies, stinking Sprats, all drench'd in Mud,
Dead Cats and Turnip-Tops come tumbling down the Flood.
That was first published in 1710.
Anyway good work and keep those word origins coming I love them!
this is another one you could use on the show.
Word origin of "sincerely"
Back in the day when people still made sculptures, some artists made mistakes. To correct these mistakes when making a sculpture of stone, they would use a colored wax to fill in the mistake. A truly great sculpture was described as being "without wax." This term went on to be used for anything that was authentic or flawless. It is also the root of the word sincerely. Sin - without and Cera - wax. Also a smooth compliment to give to a beautiful and intelligent woman or a smooth way to end a letter to prove your sincerity.
ie.
I love you babe.
-without wax

It's good to see you back in "show-biz". You're very elegant on the camera, and you have notable talent that stretches far beyond the likes of G4, my friend. Although, I must say, I really do miss you on The Screensavers (which was many years ago, and not even G4 for that matter). Everyone on that show felt very "approachable", as though you could get along with them in real life. That's the appeal you bring to PopSiren, and we all really do appreciate it!
Keep up the good work, Sarah!
