Lone Star Tea
Tea makes me feel safe. It helps me write, it keeps me awake past 8:30 when we have company, it soothes my aches when I feel defeated. I carry tea in my purse when we travel to alleviate homesickness, and generous friends have brought me so much tea that it fills a chest of drawers in our entryway.
Maggie, AKA Mighty Girl, sounds like my kinda girl. I think I'll stop by her panel at SXSW on Sunday.
See you in Austin. Oh, and if you see that I've consumed more than five Shiner Bocks in one sitting, please close my tab.

Four Shiner Bocks, four Shiner Blondes, and four Shiner Hefeweizens will get you around this limitation.

If they have Shiner Bohemian Black Lager I'd recommend you try it. It's the most superior of all the Shiner's. It's now my favorite beer under 7 bucks a six pack. It's fantastic! You know what, you'll probably think I'm crazy since I live in the Dallas suburbs and I've only spent one weekend in Austin- I rarely have the money to spend and it resulted in big overdraw fees. But I've had de ja vous in one of the clubs that I'd dreamed about hanging out there but the catch was I had the dream when I was like 4. It was pretty awesome. I like that place enough to have dreams about it when I was 4, interesting. We're gonna get you that kitty wig though, and if we don't we'll all feel horrible. seriously.
P.s. I don't mean to be rude but don't waste your time with the Shiner Blonde or Hefe, they shame the Lone Star State, not that I'm shedding any tears over it, but they do. Also I love that Pearl Jam song, it was the same story with me. I just rocked out to it since my guitar was at my parents house since Thanksgiving. Not playing actually makes me better. I wish I could hang out in Austin this weekend and possibly meet you but I've only got like $70 for the week. I really should just blow off responsibilities more. Wait, that's why I only have $70. damn. And it's not just because I'm 1/4 Bohemian that I favor the Black Lager. You might have trouble finding it in bars though, or maybe I just don't know Austin.(..) Have a good time! and don't forget WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... DOG!!!!!!! (remember)

On second thought, I just bought a six pack and I think it might be a little too rough for your standards to be honest, I've never tried it while thinking of a girl's taste. It's just interesting to me because it's a choclatey, coffee-ish Shiner.

I'm a huge coffee addict, so i was wondering if I were to switch to tea would it keep me going through out the day like coffee does? What are some good brands and websites for information?

i just stumbled over this blog, and was sent into total "flashback/goodtimes" mode.
I used to watch Screensavers and AOTS religiously. Not so much anymore. too busy.
I was bumming when you and Brendan Moran left. Glad to see you're still doing stuff and are having fun. Anyways, Thanks for the laughs. You were awesome on that show.

Ooooh, who're you going to see there? Check out DJ List Christee on Friday (i.e. Kevin Barnes of Of Montreal - that should be interesting, right??)(if you even listen to Of Montreal, right??) Anyway, I wish I could go, too! I'm only 3 hours away and still can't afford it. Otherwise, I'd help take the ease off your tab for you. ;) I hope you have fun!
P.S. I love your blogs & photography from your travels! I've been a fan for a few years so I thought it was finally time to make a comment or two. :)
